GMG Fish Services Ltd.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Cooke Aquaculture Inc. GMG Fish Services provides a broad range of services and supplies including net manufacturing, cage construction, cage repair; and marine cage site construction. GMG wholesales rope and marine supplies to local aquaculture and commercial fishing companies.

Cage Manufacturing Services
The GMG Plastic Welding Division uses High Density Polyethylene Pipe with its custom design of Brackets and Bird Stands to manufacture cages from 50 meters to 150 meters in circumference. In addition to traditional Aquaculture Cages, GMG has recently designed additional cage requirements for several Multi-trophic Aquaculture sites for the growth of mussels and kelp.

Net Manufacturing Services
GMG’s main focus of its Net Manufacturing Division is to keep the fish in and the predators out. GMG manufactures and repairs a variety of Containment and Predator nets of all different shapes and sizes from 50 meters to 150 meters to accommodate all sizes of fish.

Tarp Manufacturing
In addition to Nets, GMG also manufactures custom designed tarps for commercial and private use. Most recently GMG has designed tarps to prevent the build up of ice on the marine cage sites known as Ice Tarps.

Marine Site Construction Supplies

GMG offers complete cage site construction, including Mooring Lines, Bridles, Grid Plates and Lines, Compensator Buoys, Rope, and applicable cage site hardware.

Retail Services
GMG’s Retail Store stocks a variety of supplies for marine sites, local fishermen, processing operations, freshwater hatchery operations, and much more.  GMG Retail offers competitive pricing and quality products.
